COMMERCIAL SWIMMING POOL RENOVATION
This project included selective demolition, renovations and upgrades throughout the hospital including the Aquatic Therapy Department. Renovation and upgrades were made to the aging rehabilitation pools and pool mechanics.
The renovation process included removing and replacing the existing plumbing and existing equipment in the equipment room. The outdated filtration and heating were replaced with a one filtration system to create a more efficient filtration and heating system. A state of the art UV sanitation system was also installed. The entire pool was then re-plastered with Diamond Brite and new tiles were added for the final touch.
It was important to stay within code, so an ADA compliant handicap lift was installed. Also installed was a depth perception tile band at required locations. To ensure safety, non-skid depth files for the deck were installed.
